Need free weather alert service

OK, I may just be blind here but I can't find anything on google for this. Does anyone know of a FREE service that dings your computer or cell phone when there is a storm warning in your area?

Most to your cell are going to be a text message. Do you have text messaging?

On my PC I used to use WeatherBug. http://weather.weatherbug.com/ It was cool. You could set he alerts for anything you wanted. Also check your local news website. I get text messages when LR's school is delayed or canceled.

I used my Walgreens gift cards from transferred prescriptions to buy a NOI weather radio alert system. Glad to have it with the three tornado's we had last week :)
