I just registered and thought I would say Hello to all. I'm new here, but an oldie on other Message Boards, mostly involving Canning, being frugal and stockpiling food in this nice economy we now have. Couponing of course is an important part of the whole process and I look forward to participating here.
Welcome. I would love to see you post some info on how to can if you have time!

I help moderate the BallŪ Canning Message Board (Preserving Club) if anyone wants information on canning or preserving foods. It's a complex subject and made moreso because all the rules everyone learned from their parents and grandparents had to be thrown out in 1990 and start over again. There is a lot of resistance to that with the "I've always done it this way" mentality.
And yes I can answer most questions. I hold a Certificate from the National Center for Home Food Preservation / CSREES-USDA and University of Georgia on the subject of Preserving Food at Home.
