I went to Walmart 12/28/08 at 10:30 am this morning (central time).
I went to the air freshner aisle and asked the associate to check the price of the Airwick Luminairs. I told her they were supposed to be clearanced to 4.97. She gave me an extremely puzzled look like I had no clue what I was talking about. She scanned them and sure enough, they were clearanced to 4.97!!
I had 4 5.00 off coupons and I bought 2 copies of the Sunday paper.
Reg price Airwick Luminairs: $9.48
Clearanced Price: $4.97x4= $19.88
2 Sunday papers: $3.00
Total 22.88
-20.00 in coupons(with .12 overage)
Total OOP: 2.88!!!!!
The .12 overage was used on the 3.00 papers!!!
