Went to Albies today and got the following:
John Morrell pork loins are on sale again for $1.88/#. We have not had them this cheap since the 8 hour sales (maybe an occasional weekend sale) I got 2 for around 7 dollars each. I had one sliced into loin chops ...got 13 chops for $7.29 (.56 each X 3 in my family=$1.68/meal) and left the other one whole for the next time I use the smoker.
Cube steak is bogo and I got 4 packages. (priced between $5.29-$5.64) Came home with 16 cubed steaks for $10.94...that is .68 each or $2.05/meal for my family. Chicken fried steak!
I also got the bag of shrimp for $5.99/#...total is $11.98 for what is regular priced at $24.98. (savings of 52%) I can get 2 meals out of this.
I got the small red potatoes for $1/#...these are the really small size. Works great in a shrimp boil.
Used a gift card to pay for all!
