Questions on couponing

Hi. I'm a newbie here. I'm trying to learn how to save with coupons. I've been stockpiling a little bit, but here's the problem. I have one store i shop at- Kroger or..dillons. The ad comes out on Wednesday. I get my coupons on Sundays. Problem is.. I never know what will be on sale and by the time i do, I cannot get them off the internet fast enough to have them for the sale. Am I missing something? How do you save with coupons? Is it that Im only shopping at one store? Help? Advice? :cry:

Sometimes the store will give you the next weeks ad early. Ask at customer service.

My advice would be to check with the Master List (http://thecouponcupboard.com/showthread.php?t=1714) each week. If you see something that you KNOW your family will use, purchase enough papers to stockpile that item, or buy the coupons online. Usually sometime before the coupon expires, there will be a decent deal and you can stock up on it at that time. (Sometimes, you purchase coupons, and they end up expiring...but don't despair! That's all in the game of couponing. You'll make it up in another place later!) Also, reading the posts for those specific stores once the Store Expert gets them posted will help. These are usually up a day or two before the ad starts. HTH!
