Hello I am new to this forum. I have a question about Family Dollar. Yesterday I checked their weekly circular, and showed up there with my coupons. They said it is their policy to not accept internet coupons. They do accept the ones out of the news paper. The problem is their sale paper said we accept manufacture coupons. Her register had already accepted the coupon, when she looked down at it:rules: and said I'll have to void that out, we can't accept these. I said::confused0088: "Your register already did". She got the manager and after us going back and forth about it she said ok this time. Beware of Family Dollar on this issue and I was wondering if any other stores in the South East have this policy. Thanks Green Acres

Hey there Green,

The reality is there is no rule, it's whatever the cashier feels like at the moment you walk up. It's possible that their manager told them not to take it, but it's not corporate policy.

The best thing to do is write the corporate headquarters a letter asking if the stores accept internet printables, they will write you back and say yes, and then keep that letter with you in case you have this interaction again.

HTH,
Sam

I wrote to corporate and asked them about IP coupons and they sent me a message back saying they do not take IP coupons.

That is interesting. I have used them in the past there so I wonder if they either changed their policy or its another one of those "if the manager feels like it" things
