2 liters of Sprite and Sprite Zero work out to FREE using the coupons in the Olympics books found in the stores. My store has a HUGE display of the coupons right in the front of the store. All Coke products are Buy 3, Get 3 Free. I will be hitting this multiple more times :)

2 Liters

5 sprite zero, 1 sprite 1.89*6=11.34

(3) b1g1 free coupon=-5.67
b3g3 free store=-5.67
Total price=0

Safeway has been good to me lately:

Cool! I need to go do that before the sale ends. Word to the wise - do not leave a 2L soda in your car when the outdoor temp is 100+. It didn't explode, but the bottle is now misshapen. :gasp:

My store, Genuardi's (a Safeway chain), would not take the coupons as BOGO on the B3G3 sale. They adjusted them down. They took the price of the soda and then only gave me half off. Each coupon was 50 cents then instead of the full dollar off.

EEEWWWW, that wasn't nice! Can they do that considering that they are getting paid the full price of the original item???? I didn't think they could :confused-smiley:

Apparently they can. Lol. I guess since they write in the price of the item they get reimbursed for what it sold for. In my case she wrote $.50 in the box instead of the actual selling price of $1.00.

That is nothing new, at least they wrote the price on it. They don't even do that here! They adjust it then turn it in for full credit.

It took a while. It I made two more. Its become aperant to me that having a sprite comic thread does not work the same way as on the other forum, so thisll be the last time I bump the topic.
