Target Item Look-up ~ Local Inventory

So I don't know who came up with it, but it is pretty cool. If you have the ASIN or DCPI number, you put in your zip code and the number of the item and it will tell you what the closest store is that supposedly has one in stock. Now it could have been sold already under a different SKU or it could be hiding in the stockroom ~ but it makes the hunt a little easier!

The only thing I don't boycott at FW (yes, still ticked they kicked us couponers to the curb years ago) but I digress, I still like the Target clearance thread and you can have updates sent to your phone and if you have internet on your phone there is a mobile version of the page that condenses just the clearance items and none of the chatter.

Oh yah, the clearance threads I listed usually have the numbers for the items so that you can put it in the search box.

Then if you print a picture of it from on-line and go in saying "Here is what I am looking for, here are the inventory numbers and you are supposed to have 2 in this store." You might stand a better chance of finding it.

ALSO ~ if it has been marked down further than the clearance sticker says you need to find the mark-down team and have them check it. If an item was supposed to be marked lower at one point but the UPC never got scanned, it won't drop in the system. This is why some stores go 75% on an item and another store never went lower than 25%.

If you are there during the week then here is where you should look for the mark-down team with the beepie guns!

- Fri. -- Auto, Cosmetics, Hardware, & Jewelry
