Do I need a color printer to print on-line coupons? I have heard that some stores only take color, do you know which ones? Also anyone know where to get cheep ink refills?:) Thanks!
This is really a YMMV (your mileage may vary). I always print in color but most people just do black and white. I think more the trick is to make sure that you print it in good quality because if that barcode doesn't scan the cashiers can get ugly about it
I noticed Walgreens is doing refills now...might be a way to get your totals up there when you need to

I never print Color coupons, I have Kroger, Giant Eagle and Meijer and they all take them with no problems.

The only place that ever said anything to me about black and whites was Walmart- Go figure!

I had a Tom Tumb manager tell me they had to be in color, but I got a copy of their internet coupon policy and that is NOT a real requirement.

I always print in color. I used to go broke on ink and invested in a good kodak printer. I love it as the ink runs less than $25 for both black and white and color combine. It has excellent printing quality as it is made for photos and I can save on printing photos at home. They run 10 cents each to print including the paper.
It is a bit more costly than some printers but I save a ton on ink...and that is the true cost of a printer.
I have had albies and tom thumb and target refuse them for being in black and white so I always print in color now.
